A Little Lift (“the App”) helps you generate short uplifting content. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account data (optional): email, username, Firebase user ID. Guests may use the App without an email.
• Generated & saved content: text you generate and choose to save to your Favorites (stored under your Firebase user ID).
• App telemetry:
  • Firebase Analytics: event counts (e.g., generate, save), device & app metadata (app version, OS version), coarse device info. We do not collect precise location.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: crash logs and non-fatal error reports with device/app diagnostics.

Why we collect it

• Provide and improve core features (generate, save Favorites).
• Diagnose crashes and quality issues.
• Ads & upgrades: the free version of the App may show ads. There is also an optional one-time upgrade that removes ads and unlocks additional features. Where ads are shown, ad providers may process limited device data to deliver and measure ads. This policy will be updated as ad/upgrade functionality evolves.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

• Performance of a contract: providing the App and your account.
• Legitimate interests: analytics, crash reporting, preventing abuse.
• Consent: optional analytics/ads where required by local law.

Data sharing

We use Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Authentication, Firestore) as processors. Data may be processed globally by Google. We don’t sell your data.

Retention

• Account & Favorites: kept while your account exists. Delete at any time from the app or by contacting us.
• Telemetry: retained per Firebase defaults and then aggregated/anonymized.

Your rights

Depending on your region: access, delete, correct, portability, restrict/oppose processing. Contact us to exercise rights.

Children

The App is for users 13+ (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We don’t knowingly collect data from children below that age.

International transfers

Firebase may process data outside your country. Google uses appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs).

Security

We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore rules to protect your data, but no method is 100% secure.
